How this site handles your data

This is a personal CV. To understand how it is read, it records what you do here — which case studies you open, the arcade runs you finish, the commands you use and any message you send through the contact form — and stores that on our servers, alongside a page-view counter. This page describes exactly what that includes. By using the site you consent to this collection.

What we store

  • Your activity — which actions you take and when.
  • The content you process — the case studies you open, arcade games and scores, palette commands, and the name, email address and message of any contact-form submission. Do not enter anything here you would not want stored, including passwords, secrets or personal documents.
  • Your network and device — your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, your browser and operating system, language, time zone, screen and window size, and similar technical details your browser exposes.
  • A device identifier — a random id kept in your browser’s storage so we can recognise return visits. It is also stored in a cookie so our servers can recognise the device. It is not tied to your name and clearing your browser storage resets it.
  • A page-view counter — the visit and arcade-play totals shown on the page are counted in a separate table with no device identifier attached.

How long we keep it

Stored data is retained indefinitely unless you ask us to remove it.

Requesting deletion

To have your data deleted, send a message through the contact button on the home page and mention your device identifier if you have it. We will remove the associated records.
